Description
Claverham Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1721 on the chimney, likely incorporating an earlier structure, with mid-19th century and 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of rubble and pebbledash, topped with a pantiled roof featuring brick gable stacks. It is two storeys high and has six windows, all of which are sash windows with a wider central pane on the first floor. The ground floor includes a 3-light and a 2-light 20th century casement window to the left, and two 4-light casements to the right. There is a central 20th century gabled porch with a studded door that has battens and strap hinges, set in a moulded frame. The right side of the building has a 2-light casement in the attic, and there is a two-storey lean-to at the rear with a single light and a 2-light casement featuring an ovolo-moulded frame on the first floor. The rear also has a lean-to with 2-light casements, and the main roof pitch is extended with a raking dormer. The interior is not accessible but may contain interesting features.
