Description
Kentshare Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1689, as indicated on the central gable. It is constructed of random rubble with dressed stone openings, flush rusticated quoins, stone copings, and features triple Roman tile roofs. The building is two stories high and has a three-window original range, with later additions at the rear. All windows are three-light ovolo-moulded mullions with hoodmoulds and small leaded pane casements, with those on the upper floor located in gables. There is a right-hand stone gabled porch from the 20th century, which has an outer plank door and a glazed inner door. The farmhouse also has tall end stone stacks with moulded caps. Inside, the ground floor on the left side features a nine-panel compartmented ceiling with chamfered beams and an inglenook.
