Description
No. 47 is a house located on High Street, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a pantiled roof and stone gable stacks. The building has two storeys and features two windows, all of which are 9-pane sashes set in plain surrounds. The central entrance consists of a 6-panelled door with a blind fanlight, framed by a plain round-headed opening.
To the right of the main house, there is a single-storey outbuilding with a catslide roof on the left side, which connects the front house to a rear building. This outbuilding has double doors and two openings to the right, one of which was formerly a 2-light casement. The right side also has double doors.
At the rear right, there is a two-storey building currently used as a workshop, featuring four 20th-century windows under the eaves and four openings at ground level, including two plate-glass windows. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
