Description
The kitchen garden walls north of Belmont date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and feature a plain stone coping. The walls are rectangular in shape, with a semi-circular end on the northeast side where the ground level is elevated. The tall walls include doorways topped with brick segmental arches. These walls are a fine example of Georgian kitchen garden architecture and are part of a series of estate buildings at Tyntesfield Park.
