Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1830, with some later alterations. It is constructed of rubble with brick dressings and features a triple roll tiled roof with brick gable stacks. The sides and rear are pebbledashed, and there is a pantiled lean-to at the back. The building has two storeys and three windows, all of which are sash windows with cambered brick heads and sides. A central gabled porch, added in the early 20th century, has bargeboards and a 20th-century door, with an inner door featuring six grooved panels and a fanlight with Y-tracery. The left and right returns have a 4-pane attic light and a 2-light casement with a segmental head on the ground floor to the right. The rear of the farmhouse has three 2-light casements with segmental heads and glazing bars on the first floor, while a single-storey lean-to along the rear includes a 2-light casement, double doors, and three 6-pane lights. The interior has not been inspected.
