Description

These are two dwellings, dating back to the 18th century and remodelled in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of white-washed granite rubble, with rendered surfaces to Starboard Light, and has scantled and machined slate roofs. Brick and stone stacks are present, including a large stone stack on the east or left side.

Starboard Light, the eastern section of the building, has a three-window façade. It features a 19th-century central six-panelled door with glazed upper panels, a two-storey bow window with tripartite four/sixteen/four-pane sashes to the left, and a two-storey bay window with four/twelve/four-pane sashes and a moulded cornice to the right. There are stacks on either end of the front façade. Port Light, the western portion with a two-window range, includes a late 19th-century two-panelled door under a timber lintel, a 20th-century window to the right, and plastic casements on the first floor. A large stack is positioned on the left. The interior of the building contains no noteworthy features. An 1890s photograph shows the building in a ruinous state; the bay windows were added in the early 20th century.
