Description
The Church of St Agnes is an early 19th-century church constructed from roughly coursed granite rubble and topped with a slate roof. It features a single-cell plan and has a west tower. The east window is semi-circular arched, while the side walls have square-headed 20th-century windows. A lean-to porch is located on the south side. The plain three-stage tower includes brick voussoirs around the round belfry windows. Inside, there is a complete set of 19th-century fittings, which include a pitched deal A-frame roof, painted pine benches with poppy-head bench ends, brass oil lamps, a plain granite font with chamfered sides, and a panelled gallery front and pulpit with a tester.
