Description

Cobblers Cottage and Well Cottage are a pair of cottages built in the 18th century, with later alterations. Cobblers Cottage is constructed of banded flint and brick, while Well Cottage is of rubble, and both are whitewashed. They have half-hipped thatched roofs with brick stacks along the ridge. The cottages are arranged over one and a half storeys with a five-window front. They feature casement windows with glazing bars. Cobblers Cottage has a 20th-century porch with a plank door, while Well Cottage has a plank door. Well Cottage also has a timber-framed outshut constructed of light scantling timbers.
