Description
Higher Houghton Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and flint, with mathematical tiles hung on the exterior. The roof is tiled and features end copings, along with end brick stacks. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys with attics and has a three-window range. The windows are three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a central brick porch that has a round arch with a stone keystone. To the right gable, there is a 20th-century pilastered doorway.
