Description
The Youth Hostel is an early 19th-century building that was formerly part of Messrs Northover and Gilberts Mill. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched slate roof. The building has three storeys and displays six ranges of contemporary windows with glazing bars on the west side, and seven on the east side. It is part of a group of listed buildings in Priory Lane, which includes No 72 (Priory Cottage) on St Michael's Lane.
