Description

These are a pair of mid-19th century stucco-fronted buildings on the east side of West Walks. They have a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves supported by brackets. The buildings are three storeys high, with four ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has French windows. A giant Tuscan pilaster order runs up the ground and first floors, while panelled pilasters appear on the second floor. Nos 1 to 6, West Walks, including the wall between Nos 5 and 6, form a group of buildings with group value.
