Description

This is a group of three traditional Purbeck cottages on the south side of High Street, likely dating from the 18th century. The cottages are constructed from Purbeck stone with stone roofs and brick stacks. They are two storeys high. Number 395 has a modern glazed front door, and modern windows on both the ground and first floors. Numbers 397 and 399 each have a half-glazed front door, a double-hung sash window on the ground floor, and a modern window on the first floor. The cottages are documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments as Monument 65.
