Description

Langmoor Manor is a detached house situated within its grounds, dating to the late 18th century. The house is constructed of stone walls, which are rendered, and has a tiled roof with rendered stacks at the left and right hand gables. The projecting eaves are boarded. A one-bay extension in matching materials was added in the 20th century on the right-hand side. The main house has two storeys and three windows, with sash windows; the outer windows are tripartite. The windows have wooden cills and crown glass. A wooden front door, featuring flush and recessed panels and two top lights, is centrally positioned. It is sheltered by a square porch with wooden Tuscan three-quarter columns and a plain moulded entablature. A two-leaf door with glazing bars leads to the porch.

The interior follows a double-pile plan with a transverse hall at the center. Within the hall, a semi-circular head is decorated with a crenellated motif on the abacus, and a rear window exhibits pointed tracery with intersecting designs. The former kitchen retains stone flags for flooring.
