Description
This is a range of buildings dating from the 19th century, situated on South Mill Lane. The construction utilizes hammer-dressed stone, with pitched slate roofs and red brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high with attics. Each building in the range features a row of casement windows with glazing bars; numbers 34 and 38 have contemporary windows of this style. Number 34 retains a planked door with an art nouveau letter box, while the remaining doors are modern. Two modern attic dormers have been added. Numbers 2 to 16 (even) form a group with the weir located opposite numbers 32 to 38 (even).
