Nos 137 and 139 on South Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed of red brick. They stand two storeys tall with attics and feature three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. The buildings have two attic dormers that include Yorkshire casements also with glazing bars. There are two doors, each with six flush panels and semi-circular fanlights.
