Description

The gate piers and gates located 110 metres north of Wootton House in Wootton Fitzpaine date from the 18th century. They consist of two rusticated stone gate piers, which are painted grey and feature moulded cornices. Each pier is topped with a lead heraldic hound in a 'guardant' position. The structure includes two wrought iron gates, likely from the late 18th century, which have the letters "AA" on top.
