Description
The Wayside Cross, located approximately 100 meters west of Minterne Parva House, dates from the 15th century. It features a square base that transitions to a chamfered second stage, forming an octagonal shape. The cross shaft, which stands about 3 feet tall, retains some fluting. This cross is noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset, volume III, page 50, number 3.
