Description
The Old Goods Shed, built in 1847 for the Southampton and Dorchester Railway, is a single-storey structure made of red brick with a hipped slate roof. It features two blind arches on each end elevation. On the south-west side, there are three blind arches and a round-arched window with glazing bars in the centre bay. The north-east side has five openings, including two round-arched windows with glazing bars in the two southern bays, a door leading up steps in the centre bay, a section of planked engine doors in the next bay, and another door up steps in the northern bay.
