Description

The boundary wall enclosing Pensbury House and its grounds along Motcombe Road dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed of rough ashlar with a stone coping and extends from a brick wall at the south-west end of the main garden, running north-eastwards to the entrance and then continuing north-eastwards to the former stable block and outbuildings. Flanking the entrance are a pair of gate piers with capping. In the northern section of the wall, there is one four-centred doorway and an additional doorway.
