Description

The Clark Monument is a table-tomb located 2 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter in Toller Porcorum. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of stone. The monument features fluted-panel pilasters and a moulded top block. The inscription reads, "Here Resteth the remains of Mary, the wife of John Clark, who departed this life the 29th of October 1778, aged 62 years," followed by a verse inscription.
