Description
Nos 25 to 28 on Coombe Street are a two-storey range with 19th-century fronts that share the same roof span. No 25 features one window bay with a door to the right. It has a slate gabled roof and a colourwashed front, with sash windows that are four panes wide and a six-panelled door to the right, where the middle two panels are glazed and the reveals are ledged. No 26 has two windows above and one to the right below, with a cemented slate gabled roof and a rendered front. Its sash windows have glazing bars, and there is a six-panelled door to the left, with the upper four panels glazed and ledged reveals. No 27 also has two windows above and one to the left below, with a colourwashed front and sash windows that are four panes wide in reveals, featuring windows with cambered head linings. The six-panelled door to the right has the upper four panels glazed and ledged reveals. No 28 has two windows above and one to the left below, with a colourwashed rendered front. The sash windows above are four panes wide in reveals, while the lower windows lack glazing bars. To the right, there is a modern door in colourwashed reveals. A plaque on the left below the eaves bears the dates "1585" and "1743."
Nos 23 to 28, along with the Congregational Church and forecourt walls, form a group.
