Description
The Bryant Monument is an early 19th-century table-tomb located 10 metres north of the nave of the Parish Church in Swyre Village. It is made of stone and features a single fielded panel on each side, with fluted pilaster corners. The monument has a moulded cornice and a hipped top block. Inscribed on it is "Sacred to the memory of William Bryant, died Feb 13th 1826. Aged 55 years." Surrounding the monument is a stone sleeper wall and iron railings, which are topped with urn finials on all four sides.
