Description
These are two gate piers dating from the 18th century, located 15 metres west of Mapperton House. They are made of ashlar stone and feature semi-circular niches on the west side, which have round shell-heads and pendant bosses. Each gate pier is topped with a lead eagle. There are low ashlar walls to the north and south, which are complemented by 19th-century spear-headed twisted iron railings.
