Description
The ha-ha, located immediately west of the stable blocks at Mapperton, dates from the 18th century. It features a rubble-stone revetting wall that is approximately 40 metres long and 0.6 metre high, with no coping. The wall runs from the gable end of the south stable to the Rectory wall, and it has a roughly semi-circular turn at the north end, creating an outer ditch.
