Description
The former brewery building, located 20 meters south-west of the Village Hall, dates from around 1777 and is now used as a builder's store. Originally powered by water, the building features walls made of flint with brick banding and brick dressings, topped by a concrete tile roof. It is two storeys high with a loft, and the lowest storey is a semi-basement. The building is positioned at right angles to the road.
On the north-east wall, the lowest floor has five windows with segmental arches, which are part-glazed and part-boarded, along with 20th-century garage doors and one blocked window. The upper floor has four similar windows. The gable end facing the road includes a sack hoist at a high level, with a loft door situated below it. Below this, there are two windows on each floor, both with segmental arches; the upper ones are glazed while the lower ones are louvred. A later brick lean-to is attached to the south side, featuring a corrugated sheeting roof. Additionally, the remains of a wheel pit can be found to the south of the building.
