Description

Lynwood is a low two-storey cottage with origins dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It features a stone rubble front and a roof made of patent pantiles. The cottage has wooden casement windows, with two or three lights, and the ground floor windows have wooden lintels. The front has three window bays, and the door is set within reveals. Lynwood, along with Nos 2 to 4 and the wall and gate piers to the west of No 2, forms a group with Nos 60 and 68 (even) Newland.
