Description

No 62 on Newland in Ambleside is an early 19th-century building featuring two storeys and a three-window front. It has a slate roof and an ashlar front. There is an ashlar string course between the floors and ashlar pilasters with panelled caps. The building has a plinth and sash windows, with three panes wide above and four panes wide below. The doorway is distinguished by a moulded archivolt and reeded imposts, a fanlight, and a six-panelled door.

Nos 60 to 68 (even) are part of a group with Nos 2 to 4 (consecutive) and the wall and gate piers to the west of No 2 Newland Gardens.
