Description
Newlands Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the early 19th century, designed in a villa style. It features rendered brick walls and low hipped slate roofs. There are brick stacks at the left-hand eaves from the 19th century and at the right-hand eaves from the 20th century. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three windows. The windows are sashes with thin glazing bars, consisting of 20 panes on the ground floor and 16 panes on the first floor, made of crown glass. The front door is centrally located and is a flush-panelled design with a semi-circular fanlight above, which also has glazing bars, dating from the early 19th century. The pentice-roofed outhouses on the north end wall are not considered of special interest.
