Description

The churchyard cross, located 20 metres north of the church in Corfe Mullen, dates from the 14th century with a restoration in 1925. It features an octagonal traditional Bath stone shaft from 1925, which stands on a stepped base. The upper part of the shaft has an octagonal chamfer with decorative rounded corners that create a square shape. The cross is supported by two wide lower square steps made of Portland stone above ironstone.
