Description

Stroud Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, although it has been partially refaced in the 18th century and 20th century. The building is constructed of brick in stretcher bond and English bond, along with rubble. It is one and a half storeys tall and features a four-window range. The thatched roof has a central brick stack. Most of the windows are three-light 20th-century metal casements with glazing bars. The original doorway has been blocked. Inside, one room has intersecting deep chamfered beams, while another part features deep chamfered wall-plates. Another room includes a timber fireplace bressummer. The roof still has its original collar trusses.
