Description
The premises occupied by Shaftesbury Museum is an 18th-century building located behind Sun and Moon Cottage on Gold Hill. It has two storeys and features two windows on the southeast side and one on the southwest side. The roof is hipped and covered with red plain tiles, while the front is made of stone rubble. On the southeast side, there are segmental-headed two-light casements with brick voussoirs in the left bay, and modern windows in the right bay. At the rear, there is a wing that is contemporary with the front and extends up to the Church. The southwest entrance front has one window above and a wooden-boarded door below.
