Description
Sun and Moon Cottage is a building that dates back to 1615 and was formerly an inn. It features an 18th-century front but likely has an earlier core. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows. It has a plain tiled gabled roof and a stuccoed front with a plinth. On the left side, there are three-light casement windows with small panes, both on the upper and lower floors. To the right, there are two sash windows that are four panes wide, along with a modern double-hung sash window at the far right. The ground floor includes a door with six flush panels, where the top four panels are cut away and glazed. A fine wrought iron bracket extends from the first floor of the house.
