Description
The former stable block to Burley and the Old Vicarage is likely from the same period as the main buildings. It is a low, wide rectangular structure with two stories, featuring a slate hipped roof and a rendered front. On the upper floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, a small ledged loft door on the right, and a modern bull's eye window on the left. The ground floor has three pairs of modern ledged double garage doors and older ledged doors. This building is part of a group that includes The Little Place, the northeast boundary wall, Rosehill, the garden wall of Burley, the Old Vicarage, the former stable block, the garden wall to Burley and the Old Vicarage, West Hill, the garden wall, the Roman Catholic Church of St Michael and St George, and the Dorset Hotel on Pound Road.
