Description
The stables, located approximately 30 meters north west of Stock Gaylard House, are a stable block dating from the late 18th century. The building features rubble walls that are partly stuccoed and has a hipped tiled roof. It is a single-storey structure with a south front that includes a range of four doors, each with round-headed fanlights above. The east front has a rounded-headed lattice window that is adorned with keystones and impost blocks. Inside, there are original cast iron stalls. Additionally, there is an attached pump that bears the inscription "HFY 1880".
