Description

LYDLINCH STOCK GAYLARD ST 71 SW 4/73 Stables, approximately 30 m north west of Stock Gaylard House. G.V. II Stable block, late C18. Rubble walls, partly stuccoed with hipped tiled roof. Single storey, south front has 4 door range. Round headed fanlights above. East front has rounded headed lattice window with keystones and impost blocks. Original cast iron stalls within. Attached pump bearing inscription "HFY 1880" "RCHM, Dorset, Vol III", p 140, no 51".
