Description
29 and 31 North Street are two late 18th century or early 19th century buildings made of red brick, standing on a rubble plinth. They feature a shallow pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves and red brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have two ranges of flush-framed cased sashes with glazing bars. There is a trompe l'oeuil window in the center of the first floor. The entrances consist of two doors—one modern and one with four flush panels—both adorned with continuous moulded imposts and lintels, and depressed arched blind fanlights, set within a very shallow ogival relieving arch. The brickwork is of superb quality.
