Description
Magnolia Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls with brick dressings and a thatch roof, which has stone gable-copings and level kneelers. There are brick stacks at each gable. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with three windows that are sashes with glazing-bars. The front door is centrally located, panelled with two top lights and has a false fanlight above, dating from the 19th century. At the east end, there is a lower range with rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof, also two storeys high, featuring two windows with casements below and sashes above. Attached to the farmhouse are coursed rubble stone walls, which extend for 7 metres on the left side and 15 metres on the right side.
