Description
The building is a detached cart shed and stable block, dated 1702. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof that is hipped at both ends. The structure is one storey high with lofts above. The cart shed is located at the left end, which has an open-ended north wall. There is a through-passage with a square-headed doorway that has straight-chamfered jambs and a lintel inscribed with the date 1702. This doorway has a plank door. Above this, there is another plank door. The rest of the west elevation consists of a sequence of windows and doors: a window, a door, another window, a door, and a final window. The windows are 2-light mullions, straight-chamfered, and fitted with cast-iron casements, each with separate labels above. The doorways are of the same type as the main entrance, each featuring 1702 dated lintels and plank doors.
