Description

This is a detached granary located 40 metres south of The Abbey House, dating from the 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls made from re-used monastic materials, which are plastered and raised on turned arches. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos with gable ends. A plank door with wooden framing is situated on the gable end, dating from the 20th century. Additionally, there are plank shutters on the east face at a height of 10 feet, which are topped with a keyed lintel.
