Description

The north wall of the Abbey Church of St Peter dates from the 15th century and is located parallel to and 7 metres south of the Parish Church. One bay of the north nave aisle stands approximately 20 cm above ground and measures 3 metres from the centre to centre of the responds, which are moulded and shafted, with an internal stone bench positioned between them. The north wall has been traced westwards since 1871, with its line marked by a row of loose architectural fragments. The total length of the north wall is 32 metres.
