Description

Piper’s Mill is a corn mill, likely built around 1795. It has ashlar walls and a tiled roof, with a moulded eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has an irregular five-window front. It features three-light timber casements, some with shutters, and plain plank doors on the left and in the center. Flat stone arches are present, and the mill race openings have segmental heads. The quality of construction is notably higher than typically seen in mills.
