Description
This bridge, located 60 metres north of St Laurence's Church, likely has medieval origins. It features an early 19th-century northern arch and two 20th-century iron girder spans to the south. The bridge has a massive central pier made of rubble, which has a flat top and pointed cutwaters. The northern arch is segmental and constructed with rough stone voussoirs. Part of the bridge is situated in Bishop's Caundle parish.
