Description

No. 14 Market Street is an attached cottage dating from the early to mid-19th century, with some 20th-century changes to its windows. The cottage features coursed rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with gable ends. There are 20th-century brick chimney stacks at each gable end. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden cills on the ground floor, and lintels throughout. The front door is slightly to the right of centre and is a plank door with a wooden frame and lintel, also from the 20th century.
