Description
The Lodge is a former lodge that has been converted into a private dwelling, dating from the mid-19th century. It features rock-faced masonry walls and half-hipped clay tile roofs, with stone stacks located on the ridge to the left of the center and on the right-hand hip. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three windows arranged in a pattern of 2:3:2, consisting of cast iron casements with a lozenge pattern of glazing bars. There are relieving arches above the ground floor windows. The front has three gabled half dormers, which also have the same pattern of casements. The front door, located to the right of center, is a plank door from the 19th century. The porch features ornamental timbering and a gabled tile roof. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut.
