Farmhouse with attached barn. Probably late C18, but may be of 2 builds. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof - half-hipped on barn. Stone centre stack and brick end stack on house. House of double-pile plan. 2 storeys. House entrance at rear under slate-roofed pentice. Elevation to road has 2 sash windows with glazing bars on each floor. Rear range with separate gabled roof in matching construction. Projecting rear wing, part 2 - storeyed, part single-storeyed, also in matching construction. RCHM Monument 9 (Dorset Vol. II).
