Description

Nos 40 to 44 on Salisbury Street is a 19th-century row of buildings. They are two stories tall, with two windows each, except for No 44, which has one window. The buildings have a slate gabled roof and two chimney stacks. No 40 features a painted brick front with a stone rubble plinth, while Nos 42 and 44 have stone rubble fronts that are partly rendered. The windows are two-light casements, with the windows in No 44 having small panes. The doors are wooden and boarded, set in frames. This row forms a group with Nos 28 to 46 on the same street.
