Description

These are two adjacent buildings on Salisbury Street, dating from 1615, with significant alterations in the 18th century. Number 9 has a higher frontage than number 11. Number 9 has a plain tile roof with a brick stack at the right-hand end and a painted brick facade. It features sash windows with three panes at the first floor level, while the ground floor has a modern shop window and a wooden boarded door to the left. Number 11 has an asbestos tile roof with a stack at the left-hand end and a stuccoed front. It has windows of three lights, and a two-light window on the ground floor to the left. The ground floor also features a four-panelled door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed, set within a frame.
