Description

This is a building of three adjacent properties, numbered 38, 38A, and 38B, located on Salisbury Street. The core of the building dates to 1615, with later alterations in the 19th century. It is two storeys high with an attic, and has three windows. The roof is slate, hipped, with three brick stacks and dormers also featuring hipped slate roofs. The front of the building is constructed from ashlar stone. The windows have frames but lack glazing bars. A small shop window is located on the ground floor to the right-hand side of number 38A, with a recessed doorway behind it. Number 38B has a wooden boarded door within a frame, and a sash window with four panes in a frame on the right-hand side. The properties form part of a group with numbers 28 to 46 (even).
