Description
This is a row of attached cottages located at 4, 5, 6, and 7 Duck Street, dating from the 18th century. The cottages are built with coursed Lias stone walls and feature a plinth. They have thatched roofs with eyebrow dormers and gable ends. There are three brick stacks, which have been renewed, positioned at the left-hand gable, center, and right-hand gable. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and have eight windows, which are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. The front doors, which are made of wood and have two glass panels, are from the 20th century. The arrangement of the façade includes a pattern of window-door-door-window-window-door-door-window. The ground floor windows are topped with voussoir heads.
