Description
The Shave Cross Public House Skittle Alley is an outbuilding dating from the 19th century, located 5 metres south-east of the inn. It features rubble walls with brick dressings and a brick wall-plate, standing approximately 7 feet high. The roof is thatched with hipped ends. The building has a plan measuring around 60 feet long by 10 feet wide. Inside, the roof construction consists of wooden poles, including rafters, collars, and purlins, with thatch laid on battens. The interior is mostly ceiled-in. This building is included for its group value with the public house.
