Description
The boundary walls of St George's Centre, likely built in 1857 and later modified, are constructed of rubble with saddle back dressed coping. These walls extend the full width of the main building and continue an additional 15 meters to the right. There are three return walls facing the Centre. A plain trimmed opening is located opposite bay 2 of the arcade, with another opening opposite the gable of the right-hand wing. The walls are generally about 450 millimeters high but rise to approximately 1.5 meters at the ends. It appears that these walls have been reduced in height since the previous listing, which noted them as 5 feet (1.5 meters) throughout. The walls are included for their group value.
